Dr. Andrew Francis-Tan (Senior Lecturer from National University of Singapore), Nikhitha Mary Mathew and Chitra Pratap
This research project investigates the relationship between school curricula, reading comprehension, and decision-making abilities among adults. The study aims to understand how educational content influences cognitive development and individual decision-making processes.
Participants are invited to complete a brief anonymous survey, designed to assess their reading comprehension and link it to patterns in everyday decision making. The survey takes approximately 10 minutes to complete and collects no personal information, ensuring full confidentiality.
Participation is entirely voluntary, and individuals must be 18 years or older to take part.
Purpose of the Study:
- To explore how educational exposure affects reasoning and life choices
- To analyze the connection between literacy skills and cognitive decision processes
- To contribute data that could help improve curriculum design and education policy
