Navigating Multilingualism: The Impact of Language on Corporators’ Professional Interactions in India
William O'Brochta ( Assistant Professor of Political Science from Texas Lutheran University) and Sunita Parekh
In our latest qualitative study, researchers are trying to focus on the role of language in the professional lives of corporators across various states in India.
Our project involves conducting in-depth interviews with corporators to understand how language influences their work interactions and public dealings. We aim to assess the impact of linguistic diversity on their effectiveness and communication strategies in different regions.
By examining how language shapes their professional experiences and public engagement, we seek to provide valuable insights into the challenges and opportunities that arise from linguistic factors in corporate environments. This research will contribute to a deeper understanding of how language plays a pivotal role in shaping corporate work life and public relations in a multilingual context.
