Understand the Drinking Water Status Of Rural Odisha

The objective of this activity is to conduct an study in Odisha to better understand the present status of drinking water in rural areas under single village piped water supply schemes. The exercise will encompass interviews, water quality tests, and observational walks around the village to help us shed light on drinking water quality, sources, treatment, and community behaviors surrounding drinking water.

MORSEL did the data collection in 2 phases. During the first phase, we visited 20 villages in Rayagada district. In the second phase we visit 30 villages in Rayagada and Kandhamal district.
